- Writing samples: Each writing sample must be 1,000 words or less. Applications with longer samples will not be considered.
- Why do you need financial assistance?: Explain why you need financial help to attend. Give honest reason that you cannot afford it, and tell us if you have looked for other funding options, such as support from your country.
- How will you share your experience?: We want more people to know about the retreat. How will you spread the word if you win a scholarship?
- References: Your references should come from people who know your writing (not family). We prefer references written specifically for this event. Applications without proper references will not be considered, and references must be attached to your application form, do not sent separately.
