Applications are open to apply før the Canada Student Visa.. They can apply for a study permit and there will be an opportunity to extend their study permit. International students can also work along with studying and can work there after graduation. In Canada, students are permitted to work part-time for a maximum of 20 hours per week while classes are in session and up to 40 hours per week during school breaks, such as the summer break. This regulation allows students to balance their studies with gaining work experience and earning income. It is a beneficial opportunity for students to supervise their time effectively and improve their financial independence.
Students have to select what they applied for to find their account. If you haven’t applied yet, go to the official website and apply there. New provisional attestation letter/territorial attestation letter exemptions are required for study permit applications Suppose the application is already in progress but you have not submitted it. In that case, you should review the list of exemptions for Provincial Attestation Letters (PAL) or Territorial Attestation Letters (TAL) to determine if you need to include one when you apply for a study permit.
Study Permit Duration
Undergraduate: 3-4 years
Postgraduate: 18-24 months
If you completed your studies at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada and wish to remain in the country temporarily for work, you might qualify for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP).
Just graduating from a DLI doesn’t guarantee PGWP (post-graduation work permit) eligibility. Verify if your school is on the list of DLIs offering eligible programs to confirm your eligibility for the PGWP.
