The US TechWomen Exchange Program is an Exchange Program in the US. It is a Fully Funded Exchange Program for International Applicants. The US TechWomen Exchange is a five-week program in the United States.  The TechWomen program empowers women and connects them with different fields. This Fully Funded Exchange Program helps women to become leaders in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the USA. The TechWomen program invites participants from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East to spend five weeks in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago. The US TechWomen Exchange Program helps Women to pursue their dreams, advance their careers, and influence other women and young girls in their communities.

The TechWomen Emerging Leaders Program began in 2011 to support the United Nations’s mission for gender equality. TechWomen Leadership Program encourages women to boost their confidence and morale and also trains them to enter the tech world. The motive of this leadership program is to train generations of women to establish the best women leaders worldwide. More than 1,000 women have trained and empowered themselves, making significant impacts in their communities through the skills they learned. Eligibility Criteria:

All females can apply for this program.

  • Field: Applicants in the Fields of Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) can apply for the TechWomen Program.
  • Experience: Participants should have at least two years of full-time professional experience in STEM fields.
  • Education: For the US leadership program, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is require.
  • Language Proficiency: Students should be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Visa Eligibility: Eligibility to obtain a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
  • Immigration Status: No application for a U.S. immigrant visa (except the Diversity Immigrant Visa) in the past five years and not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Citizenship: Applicants should have citizenship or permanent residency in one of the following countries:
    Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, or Zimbabwe, Albania, Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda.
