Nowadays, systemic imbalances of wealth, access, and power are the biggest issues faced globally. Solving these issues requires talented minds and new approaches to leadership. These capabilities are used to put forth transformative actions and policies that overcome the concepts of power.

Also, the Young leaders participants can join the In-Person Fully funded scholarship for international students sessions held in in Hawai‘i and Aotearoa (New Zealand) as well as the Virtual session from the world’s Top Expertise to enhance their knowledge, leadership qualities, and networks to participate the different activities designed for the worldwide leaders. New Zealand Scholarship 2024 Program Timelines

The Equitable Futures Fellowship will be from October 2024 to May 2025. They require participation in virtual and in-person sessions.

• Pre-Residency Virtual Sessions: October 14 to 27, 2024
• Honolulu, Hawai‘i: 28 October to 8 November, 2024
• Virtual Sessions: 9 November, 2024 to 25 May, 2025
• Wellington, New Zealand: 26 to 31 May, 2025

Deadlines of Fellowship

• Application Deadline: April 15, 2024 at 11:00 PM Hawai‘i Standard Time
• Reference Letters Acceptance Date: Till the Last day of April 21, 2024

Note That: The Equitable Futures Fellowship program is subject to postponement or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or other issues.

EFF 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Only the following applicants will be eligible to Apply:

• You must have 5 to 10 years of work experience in any aspect of policy, advocacy, or influence.
• The elected officials, community leaders, topic experts, government agency representatives, advocacy group leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and activists can also apply. 
• Indo-Pacific region countries resident or citizen
• There is no restriction on any nationality or Region to Apply. 
• Anyone from any nationality can apply for the East-West Center Future Scholarship.
• Must be proficient in English Speaking.
•  If you have any English Proficiency Test scores, it’s encouraged to provide. 
• The participant fully committed to being available during in-person and virtual connections of the EFF 2024 Fellowship. 
• Working with loyalty without knowing the religion, gender, background culture, etc. 
• Having the ability to provide the solutions to the causes that face society nowadays. 

Financial Support of EFF Fully funded scholarship

The Fully funded scholarship for international students provides the following support to the selected applicants:

• Round Airfare Ticket to or from the Program location.
• Travel Insurance
• Accommodation
• Program fee and materials
• Some applicable Visa costs.
• Meals allowance

Required Documents

• A valid passport with validity till 2025.
• 3 years of study in Higher Education in a recognized institution. (The full-time degree program is preferred but it is not required.
